Hunting Land Neighbor
One of the most important features for whitetail hunting land is your surrounding neighbors. This property is surrounded by other hunting land and farms.
The first thing you’ll notice from this aerial survey map is that the WI Hunting Land For Sale property is entirely surrounded by properties just like itself. All neighbors for miles around have a combination of timber acreage, field land and pastures.
This blog post will focus upon pictures taken of the other half of the original family farm because that is the most obvious neighbor. This area is outlined in red.
The following picture is going North to South on the Sneed Creek road in Sneed Creek valley. That is top to bottom in the above picture. The area in red is on the right side and our hunting land for sale Wisconsin is on the left.

The next picture is a zoom shot of the family farm buildings. The Sneed Creek runs South to North down the valley.

Here you’ll see the power poles running through the countryside and through the ridge field on the next hill. Most evening you’ll see deer grazing in the fields in the distance. These fields keep the whitetail fat and happy for your hunting seasons.

Did someone say TURKEYS?
Yup … (I know … I should have zoomed) there are three turkeys in the pasture just below.

The next picture is starting the drive along the WI hunting land viewing the other half of the original farm.

Close up of the fields, power poles and field ridge beyond.

Taking a look backwards (towards the North) as we are almost to the top of the township road for this hill — certainly not to the level of the ridge roads.

Turning our left is the view of the lower property consisting of fields and pasture. This is a good view from the hunting land for sale as it is just off the road side on the hill behind the camera. This view at evenings dusk usually has several deer grazing.

More photos of the hill and ridge across the valley.

Just trying to zoom in on one of the early tree colors.

The farm buildings are coming next.

Barn building and hay storage.

The next picture looks like just a bunch of weeds but it’s actually a road turn about and the road in front of us winds up to the first ridge road that was shown earlier. This could be another route to the top of the property.

I’m in the same area but have turned around to take a shot of the neighboring land up to the fence line. Checkout the tree to the left as this hickory tree has been there forever. It has been used as part of the loading chute to load hogs and as a battering ram for a feisty buck sheep that we once had. He was a cute little sucker when young but pretty ornery when he grew up. Guests would often ask what that rustling of tree leaves was. He just periodically backed up and gave the tree a big belt. He also got the rest of once in a while.

Same shot but I zoomed in on the field across as that is one of the ridge road entrances for that side of the farm. Our mom hunted deer up North when the earlier generation always went up there for hunting. Once everyone came back to hunt at home she would always see deer crossing this field in front of the house every opening weekend. Straight across the valley provided many early opening morning shots. The 300 savage didn’t miss but the darn 270 was a pain in the butt.

Ah yes … this is the view that we saw thousands of times as we came home either from town or hauling hay. This is a view from our uncle’s hill road. The hunting land for sale in on the right and with the line fence is just across from that small tree.

Same spot but looking across the valley.

This looks back up the valley and towards the power poles.

This is the original family farm location.

We will be taking additional pictures soon as we recognized that we missed some of the areas that need more definition such as the springs in the valley, fence line locations, more of the logging road access areas, etc.
As usual, if you wish additional information or wish to contact us please go to the Contact Us post and contact us at that e-mail address. I’ll change that over to easier e-mail posting option later — unless of course someone buys the property before then.
Have a great day!
PS. You may want to stop in at your local Ford dealer soon as this is truly Ford country around here.
