The purpose of this WI Hunting Land For Sale website is to provide the most descriptive information for one of the best available hunting lands for sale in WI.  Southern Wisconsin has different types of terrains depending upon the specific location.  However this specific land has some of the most beautiful scenery in Wisconsin.

This land has it all including hills, pastures, field land, fantastic ridge top views, two fresh water streams, rocks, deer trails and timberland.  It is also relatively close to major cities in WI, IL, IA and MN.

The following picture is a survey of the full family farm.  The land that is available for purchase is outlined in red on the right side of Sneed Creek road which goes down middle of picture.

The property is approximately 174 acres and is about 2/3 of the original family farm land and is the right side of the aerial photo on the right.  The available property (as outlined in the photo to the left) has over 35 acres of field land in both the valleys and on the ridge top.

The “Y” shaped valley has a long and winding pasture which extends from the Sneed Creek county road access to the property limits.  This valley provides a fantastic location for viewing whitetail deer and turkey as they cross from one hillside to another.  I hope you have a good scope for the rifle!

The first photo on this page looks to the East from Sneed Creek road.  The two cold water springs on this property come down the valley to meet and flow into the Sneed Creek stream on the other side of the Sneed Creek road.  It looks pretty tame in these photos now but it does provide water all summer and TASTES GREAT!

The hillside on the left side has a small field and woodland acreage above that up to the line fence way up on the top.  You have many different types of trees either for firewood, sale or simply for keeping the wildlife happy.

This hill even has a sandy location right in the middle of the slope providing a unique location to simply sit and view the Sneed Creek valley that runs North to South for your view.  I told you this Wisconsin whitetail hunting land has it all.

This website will take you on a visual tour of the property including:

• Stepping back and taking in initial views of the valley access looking East
• Next, taking a walk up one of two hillside roads to the awesome ridge hilltop view
• Once on top, let’s check out the unbelievable panoramic views  in all directions from the ridge top
• The hike next goes down the back slope through the steep woods and into the right side of the “Y” shaped pasture valley
• View the first of two springs and then circle up the truly unique grassy sloped hill to the rocky “Kings” point.  The family dogs King, Pee Wee and Elmo couldn’t get enough time to check everything out here.  Maybe that’s why they lived to 20+ years each — honest!
• And finally we’ll work our way back down off of King’s point to the left side of the “Y” shaped pasture, past the second spring, allow a couple of small fields and back to the Sneed Creek road.

UPDATED:

• We will now add photos for the other half of the hunting land for sale WI for those who would prefer more open land, a good size creek (i.e. Sneed Creek) as well as great hunting land and ridge top locations.

The entire trip has countless kinds of tree (white oak, red oak, maples, birch, popular, elm, walnut, hickory nut, butternut, cedar, pine and many more.  Deer trails everywhere.  Turkeys, squirrels and every type of  wildlife known to southern Wisconsin.
